Day 1 - Saturday 1 Sept (D)
Auckland to Palmerston North
Visit the Classics Museum  to see over 100 classic cars before heading through the Central Plateau to Palmerston North.  This evening has a welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant to get to know your fellow travel companions.

Day 2 - Sunday 2 Sept (BD)
Palmerston North to Wellington
Today we drive south along the Kapiti coast, stopping at Parapaumu to visit the Southwards Car Museum - an amazing collection of vintage cars and other modes of transport. We then travel to Welllington and have an afternoon sightseeing tour including Mt Victoria, Parliament Buildings, Botanical Gardens, Victorial University and Te Papa - the National Museum of New Zealand.  The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city.

Day 3 - Monday 3 Sept (BD)
Wellington to Blenheim
After breakfast we depart the Capital onboard the Interislander ferry for the 3 hour cruise to Picton. On arrival, we re-board our coach and head to Blenheim to visit the Omaka Classic Cars - a unique collection that totals well over 100 cars with more than half on display at any time.

Day 4 - Tuesday 4 Sept (BD)
Blenheim to Nelson
This morning we visit Omaka Aviation Heritage Museum, home to the Knights of the Sky and Dangerous Skies exhibition.  The afternoon then takes us across the top of the South Island through Rai Valley, forestry plantations and farmland to the sunny Nelson region.

Day 5 - Wednesday 5 Sept (BD)
At Nelson
Today we visit the World of Wearable Arts & Collectable Cars attraction which houses two unique galleries. During the afternoon we visit Founders Heritage Park to learn about Nelsons heritage and listen to the stories of the local eople.  Visit the businesses and artisans in character buildings or take a ride on the train and sample locally brewed craft beer.

Day 6 - Thursday 6 Sept (BD)
Nelson to Christchurch
Depart and drive south through the lovely Waimea Valley then travel over the Lewis Pass to Hanmer Springs where we take a lunch break (own cost).   Carrying on across the Northern Canterbury Plains we arrive in Christchurch, the Garden City.  Here we visit Stewart's Classic Car collection - a private collection of classic cars, motorbikes and trucks.

Day 7 - Friday 7 Sept (BD)
Christchurch to Omarama
This morning we visit Ferrymead Park featuring an early 1900s Edwardian township.  Collections here can include tractors, fire engines, aeroplanes, trams, trains, theatrical operations, modern train and much more.  In the afternoon we depart Christchurch and travel south across the Canterbury Plains and inland through the Mackenzie Country to the small service town of Omarama.

Day 8 - Saturday 8 Sept (BD)
Omarama to Queenstown
Today we'll travel through the dramatic Lindis Pass to Cromwell where we will visit the Highland Motorsports Park.  See rare and special race cars, visit the hall of fame and have a coffe in the Pit Stop Cafe.  Your museum entry also includes free use of the Bathgurst shaped mini-golf course.  Leaving Cromwell we travel through the Kawarau Gorge and onto Queenstown - a lakeside resort.

Day 9 - Sunday 9 Sept (BD)
At Queenstown
Today is at leisure.  Enjoy a wide range of activities from the jet-boating thrill ride on the Shotover River, to winery tours, 4WD tours, scenic flights, or if you date - bungy jumping or tandem sky-diving.  Extra cost for optional sightseeing excursions.  Tonight we cruise across Lake Wakatipu on the TSS Earnslaw vintage steamer to Walter Peak High Country Station for a farm show and dinner at the Colonel's Homestead.

Day 10 - Monday 10 Sept (BD)
Queenstown to Invercargill
This morning we depart Queenstown and travel south to Invercargill where we'll visit the Bill Richardson Transport World and E Hayes Motor Works Collection - home of the World's Fastest Indian.  Next it is on to Motorcycle Mecca, widely regarded as a world-class display which houses over 300 motorcycles and motorcycle related artwork.

Day 11 - Tuesday 11 Sept (B)
Invercargill to Auckland 
After breakfast we board the coach and depart to Invercargill Airport to the flight to Auckland.
